Recognized signs โ€” Shock
๐Ÿ’“ Rapid & weak pulse
๐Ÿซ Rapid & shallow breathing
๐ŸงŠ Cold & clammy skin ยท pallor
๐Ÿง  Confusion ยท agitation ยท anxiety

๐Ÿฉธ Control any active external hemorrhage
Apply the hemorrhagic trauma protocol if necessary

๐Ÿ“Ÿ Initial pulse oximetry reading if available
โš  Do not rely on it if extremities are cold โ€” poor blood pressure

๐Ÿ’จ Administer high-concentration Oโ‚‚
100% Oโ‚‚ mask if available

๐Ÿ‘” Loosen clothing
Collar, belt, undergarments
๐Ÿฆบ Leave in position found
Maintain cervical immobilization

๐ŸŒก Cover the victim with a warm or aluminum blanket
Prevent hypothermia โ€” do not overheat

๐Ÿ“Š Reassess vital signs (ABC) frequently
Be vigilant: agitation (hypoxia) ยท projectile vomiting ยท imminent cardiac arrest

by calling 911

Immediately apply C-A-B CPR and use the AED as soon as available
